Need to reset, change your WordPress username or password?

In this tutorial I will go over how to reset a WordPress Username and Password from within phpMyAdmin.

Inside the left column, click on the database that is connected to your WordPress blog. (If you are not sure, go to your cPanel, look through your WordPress installs. The database name should be displayed). Then click on wp_users. Now to reset the user name password, click edit. Now you are ready to edit. Just to the right of “user_pass”, select MD5 from the drop-down menu. Now you can change your username and password if you wish.
