Cover Letter
My IT career began in 1995. I got hired as a Network Administrator's Assistant, supporting
Windows 3.1 for Workgroups on a Novell 3.12 network with approx. 250+ users.
My responsibility was to oversee the organization’s computer systems, create daily network and database backups to ensure proper maintenance and security. Work with fellow IT staff and company employees to identify and resolve network outages or system failures. Supervise new techs in the installation of network computers, hardware devices, and applications. Use employee/end-user feedback to isolate and address issues as they arise.
Expanding
After I registered expertcomputerhelp.com in 2003, the direction of my skill set expanded into Web Development, Photoshop and SEO. At the time, WordPress had just been released and everyone was asking for a website. Long story short, I spent much of my time creating and supporting WordPress websites, building Google+ communities, Facebook pages, PHPBB3 forums, HTML, CSS, SEO, and creating custom graphics in Photoshop.
Which brings us to where we are today, early 2023. I still provide computer repair and application support to residential homes and small businesses, but much of my time goes to WordPress, Plugins, Themes, Web Hosting Support, Photoshop, Blogging, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Customer Support.
