Yes, when you search Google for “Boom 2 EQ No Sound” will pull up many articles. This is an issue many of us have dealt with over the years. If you’ve been dealing with Boom 2 not working, your not alone. Don’t worry, even though Global Delight support is not the easiest to get a hold of, I am. Here’s how I fixed it.
The fix
Uninstall Boom from your applications folder. Then reinstall the app by going into your trash can and selecting “Put Back”. Downloading a fresh copy of Boom 2 from the website and performing a fresh install works too. Now restart your computer and make sure your sound is set up properly.

I’ve seen the software go through some growing pains, that said, It works very well as an amplifier for your iTunes library, adding more punch to your volume. Aside from a few hiccups with Boom 2 EQ No Sound, Boom 2 is a great product for anyone who loves loud music.
