When a customer inquires about Expert Computer Help's service, the first question asked is, how much do we charge and how long it will take to fix. This is a logical question, but the answer is not a simple one. Certain situations require a technician to sit in front of the customer's computer to see and listen for the problem. Nothing againest the customer, except we as technicians know how difficult it can be for the inexperienced person to accurately describe a computer problem.

Maintenance and blocks of time

When a customer purchases a maintenance plan or block of time from Expert Computer Help, it is at that point the customer has agreed to pay for such services in full before services are rendered. After the customer's funds are received the they have 30 days to use their hours, otherwise they will lose their hours as well as their funds. Unless other arrangments have been made with Expert Computer Help, there will be No refunds!

( Do not purchase blocks of time or maintenance plans unless you plan on using them within 30 days )

Fortunately for Expert Computer Help, we have never been asked for a refund due to a miscommunication or an unsatisfied customer.

How it works

When customer agrees to pay our going rate we have to assume the customer is fully aware and is prepared financially.

All of Expert Computer Help's customers must remember when troubleshooting computers sometimes things don't go as planned.

Troubleshooting hardware, software and most networks are anything but routine and in most cases almost impossible to tell the customer over the phone how long it will take be fixed without sitting in front of the computers / servers to investigate the problem.

When a customer agrees to hire Expert Computer Help for service, it means they have verbally agreed to pay our going rate and are now awaiting our arrival. Our current rate is subject to change based on availability and driving distance.
